Starting Wage: $14.00 for 3rd shift there is a shift premium of $2.00 ($16.00)
Job Objective
To load parts on racks in preparation for plating, to unload, inspect and to package various parts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Loads and unloads parts on the appropriate racks for plating and transports parts to and from the plating area as required.
Determine accurate piece count in the container using hand or weight count and keeps accurate production records.
Locates and retrieves parts to be plated and after plating locates the parts into inventory.
Inspects individual parts for quality against established standards prior to and after plating and reports problems promptly to the Manufacturing Manager or Manufacturing Coordinator.
Keeps accurate scrap information and records that data.
Keeps racks clean and requests repairs as needed.
Helps maintain work area in a cleared and orderly condition using 5-S principles to minimize safety hazards and lost-time accidents.
Follows established safety procedures and policies at all times.
Handles parts in a way that will not damage the part or finish.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Maintains a good attendance record.
Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required
Skill to inspect and hang parts correctly which can be learned on the job.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work cooperatively on a regular basis with other employees.
Judgment Required
Work follows standard procedures.
To operate forklift and other machinery in a safe manner.
To inspect plated parts for quality and appearance based on TriMark and customer specifications.
Working Conditions
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company's business demands.
Exposure to hazards of chemicals used in the plating process. The temperature is normal for the season and the area is damp. Noise levels are 80-90.
Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, other devices such as gloves, aprons, and faceshields as required for operations. Eating and drinking is prohibited in this area. The plating area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees, and no color deficiency. Hearing protection is not required but is available.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
