Assembler (3rd Shift)


3rd Shift Position

Starting wage $14. 50 per hour. There is also a shift premium of $2. 00 per hour. Total starting would be $16. 50 per hour for 3rd shift.

Job Objective

Completes assembly operation on any product in a safe manner consistent with established quality standards and production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and understand daily assignments from Assembly Coordinator, Assembly Specialist or Designee.

  • Restock immediate workstation.

  • Sets aside damaged or unusable parts in accordance with SPC procedures or after consulting with Assembly Coordinator, Assembly Specialist or Designee.

  • Performs random visual, functional, and measurable checks of product quality per SPC procedures; notifies Assembly Coordinator, Assembly Specialist or Designee of questionable parts or machine function.

  • Accurately records daily production.

  • Maintains work area in a cleared and orderly condition.

  • Follows established housekeeping and safety standards.

  • Assists and trains new employees as required.

  • Maintains a good attendance record.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.

    Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required

    Skill to operate assembly machines or equipment for which training has been provided.

    Ability to interpret blue prints, process sheets, job cards, and operating instructions and procedures in a clear and concise manner.

    Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    Ability to work cooperatively with other employees on a regular basis.

  • Judgment Required

    Determine quality of components or finished parts in accordance with quality assurance procedure.

    Recommend corrective action to improve the quality of production and product in assigned area.

    Working Conditions

    Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company s business demands.

    Exposure to hazards of machine operations and irritants such as grease, lubricants, and coolant. The area is dry with seasonal variations in temperature. The noise level is 80-90.

    Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, hair short or tied back. This area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees and no color deficiency. Hearing protection is not required but is available.

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
